a popular Japanese winter dish in Japan

Usually, I like to eat and taste the foods from different countries…because each country has various dishes based on their economic, cultural and climatic factors.. and also, food presentation and eating culture vary to countries 🍜🍲

So, today I am going to talk about Nabe (Hot Pot), a popular Japanese winter dish in Japan..🍲

Nabe, which means “Hot Pot” in Japanese, is a classic winter dish in Japan. Simply, it’s usually a stew of ingredients like meat, fish, and vegetables. they have been given different names according to their added ingredients and flavor, such as:- Yosenabe, Chanko nabe, Mizutaki, and Shabu-shabu. Just the same as, when we add meat and fish into fried rice, then we call it chicken fried rice/beef fried rice/seafood fried rice so on… 🥰

But it’s such a different experience… I have tried that dish several times before in Shanghai Garden Restaurant City Center Doha, Dragon Restaurant Qatar, QoKio Korean Fried Chicken, and other Korean Chinese restaurants as well as Japanese restaurants like NEO Restaurant Qatar, and Wagamama, but still I love this concept & want to take that experience again and again 🥰

Another thing is, that I don’t need to be alone while I’m cooking this dish..just clean & prepare the ingredients & eat with your loving family with freshness… No need for any Artificial colors or Flavors to taste it.. because fresh vegetables and meat are cooked and eaten immediately.. If you want, you can add some salt and pepper and eat it right away… So, you can enjoy your food with your family while talking about things. All are gathered around with love & can taste it.., but first, you need a hotplate for this.. ok?😬

🔴 And the most important thing is if you have children… Please be careful and always keep safety first

However, because of my enthusiasm, I tried it at home also (See photos below)

first, I took the hotplate and placed it in the middle of the table and I washed and cut the ingredients for the dish as soon (you can take whatever you want) vegetables, meat, and fish 😇

add your favorite type of soup or water into a bowl (I put water and added salt, pepper, and chilies as per our requirement.. You can add anything that you like to add into this soup bowl according to your taste) after some minutes you can taste the food while ingredients are cooking as half or fully cook

when we add all kinds of ingredients into the soup, it becomes very tasty at the end… So in addition, if you want, you can finish the rest of the soup with rice or noodles. 😊

However, I think this is a diet with a perfect nutritional balance because you can get all the protein, and carbohydrates that you want to cover up in one meal, and the usage of oil is very minimal.. Specifically, it has a different taste rather than ordinary boiled food.

Finally, I want to tell you, that it is not surprising that this diet has become the most important for Japanese people to become number 1 as the country with the highest healthiest number of people.🥰❤️
